“Having become remote, it returns.”
The twenty-fifth chapter of the Tao Te Ching describes the Tao passing on in constant flow, growing remote, and coming back. Every sit has the same shape: the mind wanders far, and it returns.

The line
The line comes from the Tao Te Ching, in James Legge's translation in The Sacred Books of the East (1891), a text of the Daoist tradition.
The words appear exactly as that translation gives them. The translation is in the public domain, and the text itself is in The Sacred Act’s library.

Shipping and returns
Your piece is made when you order it and ships within 2 to 7 business days, and embroidered pieces take the longer end of that. Delivery takes 5 to 12 business days in the United States, where shipping is complimentary, and 8 to 25 elsewhere, for a flat $20.
Because each piece is made for you, we cannot take back a piece for a change of mind or size. If yours arrives flawed or damaged, write to support@thesacredact.com within 30 days with a photograph, and we will replace it at no cost. Read the full policy.
